Tullow Resource Centre
Library Notice Board
Congratulations to our 2008 CBCA Readers’ Cup team!
Khloe Curtin Angelyn Delmo, Natalia Jelic, Keely Latimore and
Amy Tay represented the college at the district competition
at St Edmund’s on 10th June.
The girls achieved a hard fought 3rd place – a fabulous result,
particularly considering they stepped in at the last minute to ensure the college was represented.
The teams had to read 6 novels in preparation for the quiz. The novels were:
Don’t Call Me Ishmael Faking Sweet Diego Run The Ruins of Gorlan Pharaoh: The Boy who conquered the Nile Peak Our “replacement” team read the six books in a little over a week! Well done to all!
