The Brigidine College theme for 2017 is "Courage to..." I invite you to complete the statement with your own personal goals in mind. I hope that the recent holidays have energized all members of our community so that we are ready to undertake the many new adventures that 2017 will bring. Mr Brendan Cahill. From Day One to the Last Day

November 25, 2016
It is often said that teachers make a lasting impact on the lives of their students. Brigidine College’s Program Leader in the Middle Years, Mrs Berni Sligar has known some of the Seniors of 2016 for more than 12 years! “I feel privileged to have watched them grow since Year 1 and to have been part of that” she said. “It’s sad to see them go but I proud of the memories we have shared.” Their first contact was in the primary school next door at Holy Family but it didn’t stop there! As Mrs Sligar moved onto new challenges in the high school setting at Brigidine College and so too did the girls. “Ms Sligar has such positive energy” Chiara said. “I will always remember her.” In the classroom or beyond, good teachers bring out the best in their students. Akwany sums it up best when she reflects “Ms Sligar allowed me to be comfortable in my own skin.”
