The Curragh Cafe
|Hours of Service||8:00am - 1:30pm|
In 2016, the Tuckshop was renamed The Curragh Cafe in homage to our Celtic heritage. The Cafe is a modern, cashless, healthy food, self-service establishment that is situated next to an open grassed area. Students can enjoy the ‘alfresco atmosphere’ of the seating under the umbrellas or in the shaded spaces in and around the Curragh.*
* Curragh is Celtic word for a beautiful open field.
A competition was held for students to select the new name when the Tuckshop moved from the pool area to its new, contemporary setting on the ground floor of the Foley building. Congratulations to Valentina Salcedo in Year 12 who won the naming competition.
Current menu is available here.
The Tuckshop relies on volunteers and we are very grateful for your assistance. Rosters are emailed to volunteers each year. If there is a problem with days or if volunteers become unable to attend a set rostered day, please contact Judy Thannhauser on 0440 753 390. Thank you for your support of this wonderful service for our students.
