Piano Tutor / Accompanist and Brass Tutor

We follow the example of Saint Brigid, a woman of vision and courage, who actively challenged the social, political and cultural structures of her time.  We commit ourselves to the education and empowerment of young women within the framework and challenge of Catholic philosophy.  The College has a vibrant classroom and instrumental music program.  Brigidine College invites applications for the following positions: Piano Tutor / Accompanist This is a part-time, term-time contract position.  The position is approximately for 5 – 6 hours work per week, inclusive of teaching piano students and accompanying the College Choir. Interviewees may be asked to perform a piano/choral accompaniment, to ascertain their level of skill. The successful applicant must be available to work on a Tuesday.   BRASS TUTOR This is a part-time, term-time contract position.  The position is approximately 4 hours of private tutoring, and assistance with Concert Band rehearsals. The successful applicant must be available to work on a Thursday.   Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, hard-working and able to communicate effectively with teenage girls and their parents, as well as College music and administration staff.
