UQ ROBOGALS WORKSHOP As technology evolves, so too do the career opportunities for young women to enter and excel in the technology, coding and programming industries. At Brigidine College, we encourage students to develop their skills in these increasingly popular fields to provide them with invaluable resources and future job opportunities. UQ is holding a range of workshops for students in Years 7 to 12 these school holidays. DANCE NOW - 3 days of dancing, performing and FUN these School Holidays - for boys and girls in Years 4, 5 and 6

Brigidine College is hosting an exciting 3-day holiday Dance program this July. Dance Now! is an immersive workshop for boys and girls in Years 4, 5 and 6 to learn Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary and Musical Theatre. Students will learn from experienced dance teachers, alongside new friends and will perform on their final day. The workshop will allow students to gain confidence from performing and interacting with new people, while experiencing the joy of dance. The workshop will run from 9:00am – 3:30pm on Monday 9 July – Wednesday 11 July at Brigidine College, Brigid Centre. The workshop is $130 per student, which includes experienced mentoring and a free BBQ on the final day. If you know a student or family that would be interested in attending, please feel free to pass on the information and registration link. All are welcome. "ONE NIGHT ONLY" - A tribute to Broadway and Hollywood Music The Brigidine College Cultural Cocurricular Department presents “ONE NIGHT ONLY”, our premier performance for 2018! Come and be entertained by performances from all our singers, dancers, actors and instrumentalists from our senior groups and ensembles, along with solo performances from some of our senior students.  So please mark the date in your calendar and join us for this special event.  Details of this exciting performance are below: Brigidine College Presents "ONE NIGHT ONLY" A tribute to Broadway and Hollywood Music Saturday August 4 Performances at 3.00 pm and 7.00 pm Kildare Hall, Brigidine College Tickets will go on sale via a Trybooking link on Monday June 18 $15.00 per seat; or $50.00 per group of 4 The following Cultural Groups will be performing at One Night Only: College Choir, Junior Choir, Cantare, The Bridgettes, Sapphires, Emeralds, Senior Drama Club, String Ensemble, Concert Band, Woodwind Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. Junior Drama Club and Dance Now will not be performing at this event. Dance Now will be performing at Brigidine Day on Friday August 3, and Junior Drama Club will have their own performance evening on Friday Aug 10. Dads and Daughters' Evening

The Brigidine Parents & Friends’ Association (P&F) Dads & Daughters’ Evening Friday 31 August Holy Family Primary School, Ward Street, Indooroopilly Please arrive at 5:30pm for a prompt 6:00pm start  Cost: $25 per head which includes a catered BBQ, dessert and soft drink Please ensure you buy a ticket for both your daughter and yourself Students are not required to wear their uniforms to this event Bookings can be made through Qkr from Tuesday 1 August Come along and be part of the Brigidine Dads & Daughters’ Rock Team! This is a much loved annual event and has become a favourite with all of our families.  A wonderful way to say “Happy Fathers’ Day” to all the positive male role models in the lives of our young women.

ENDURE FOR A CURE

October 26, 2018
Brigidine College Spirit Squad will be embarking on a 24-hour triathlon to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation and Australian Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer and Mitochondrial Disease are diseases that have personally affected our College community in recent times. The Spirit Squad made up of 65 Year 11 and 12 students, will be swimming, cycling and running over a 24-hour period on Friday 26 October.  Their goal is $15,000.
